Cooking on the BBQ

Summer is coming to an end, and I seem to finally be getting the hang of cooking on the barbeque. This knowledge would have been useful during the very hot (few that they were) days of summer, but alas, I shall be more prepared next summer! I've even enjoyed cooking casseroles on the grill.

A Year has Passed...

A year or more later... we are settled into our new house which we have made a home. I am striving for organization (though at a snale's pace, it comes).

My little puppies have been growing quickly. Our eldest, Tink, will soon be heading out into the world of greater learning. I pray indeed it to be great. We are excited! Our youngest, what shall I call him? I may have to ponder a name... he is learning new words every day (many times under Tink's teaching!). Tink says when the Learning Academy begins, I shall have to bring the Master of the House on frequent Park Trips.

Ministry? The new church family we were blessed to stumble upon has hired my husband as their associate pastor. We work with the youth, I enjoy helping with the church bulletin as well as any thing else asked of me, my husband leads worship and over the summer has been teaching a weekly Bible study; I take my turn in the nursery.

Our street? We love our little street. It is filled with many good people. A dear friend for myself as well as playmates for my little puppies. I often enjoy hearing that little knock on our side door...
