May my roots grow deep, may my limbs grow strong.

And so it begins... truly!

Although my research has already begun, today marks the day I sent my first offical email and made my first official telephone call to inquire into two separate homeschooling groups.

The latter, mostly as a formality because I believe that one should, when possible, look into more than one option before making a decision. The email, to a group I am sure I would truly love to join.

The curriculum? I presume it will be AmblesideOnline.org for our base teaching schedule. The rest, yet to be determined. Fortunately, I have a good eight months to prepare and do feel already that I am on target in regards to the expectations I placed on myself before Christmas. Really? Me? So it would appear. I am thankful!

The harder task for me will be determining how on earth to properly organize the play room or office so as to accomodate school supplies and projects. Seing as I've known myself for thirty-three years and holding, I am well aware that if I am unable to start off on the right (organized) foot, I am "thusly and therefore" shooting myself in the foot. Not a good thing when you don't have health insurance. Sorry - my feeble attemp at a joke. Oh wait - I think it's funny, and since I'm writing for my own benefit I can leave my joke in and even "LOL" if I want! heh heh. Consider that the laugh out loud!

And now on to my sick child. The older is back at school after a week of absences, and the younger left to suffer the strain of sickness.
