'To God Be The Glory' - Let The Bible Speak Congregational Singing

Disabilities, weaknesses, struggles, strengths, strong points, weak points... we all have them.  I've had my fair share of them throughout the years!  The good, the great, the bad and the ugly!  Knowing and understanding what I'm reading, then knowing how to teach what I think I should already have know or learned but feel like I've forgotten or no longer get it - has caused much stress.

I strongly dislike stress.

Stress is ugly.  It contorts your face.  It tightens your muscles.  It gives you headaches.

But stress can be good.

When it brings you to your knees.  When it brings you to your knees before the throne of the Almighty.  When it brings you to your knees before the throne of the Almighty and you call out to God in prayer asking - no, pleading - for the gift of teaching.

But you keep praying.  Cause it's not coming.

Yet.

You keep praying 'cause you don't think it's being given to you yet; that gift that you long for, yearn for and need so much.  It's not a gift you want to keep to yourself!  It's a gift you want so bad 'cause you want so bad to give it away!

Had that felt that yet?

When stress brings you to the throne of the Almighty to plead for a gift to be given to you simply so that you can give that gift away...

Our God Almighty is pleased.  He is pleased to give that gift.  I believe He will give that gift.

He did give that gift.  He is giving that gift.

And I'm giving it away.

So as you listen to "To God Be The Glory, Great Things He Has Done" think about what God has done in your life that you would like to sing glory to Him who has done great things in you and through you.

May the Lord bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you as you shine His love upon others, praying prayers of faith in accordance to all that His Name stands for.
