What a year this has been! Our family, consisting of my husband and I and our two little "puppies", moved from the precious "confines" of a loving family atmosphere, to the "great unknown" of a "new world." Not knowing what God had in store for us, we stepped out in faith as He called us to move away from our then current place of ministry to a new, not yet spoken, ministry. Though our place still unknown to us, ministry has not completely hidden it's face nor it's ways. While wondering and praying for God to show us where to go, what to do, we discovered a new family with different facets and friendly faces. A new church home that has embraced us and loved us into their midst.
As our days have passed, my soul-mate has learned new meaning to the oftentimes gruelling work of "provider" as I have learned the challenges of maintaining a home with our two lively, quickly-growing puppies. We've come to a place where we have found comfort in waiting on the Lord, evolving relationships and the blessing of purchasing our "first" home. Ahhh - my prayers of a place to settle, to dig in my heels, plant my pots are now within reach - within sight!
May my roots grow deep, may my limbs grow strong.
