And So We've Begun!

Today marks our third day of homeschooling. It's been intimidating, encouraging, exhilerating as well as rather "mind-filling" which has lead to both satisfaction and tiredness alike. Although the days have not gone exactly as planned (do they ever?) I am sooo thankful for how ALC, at the end of our first day, told Daddy that "School was awesome!". Yay Mommy and thanks God! Today we put a birdhouse together and hung it in our backyard on the limbs of our neighbo(u)rs walnut tree, which is intertwined with grape vines and hangs over into our yard. While doing our nature study outdoors, it was rather exciting to spot some rather small, dark purple grapes. We're hoping tomorrow to spot some birds on our feeder. So thank you, Lord, for these beginning days of homeschooling. Thank you for 'establishing the work of my hands' which is something I have been praying for in particular over the past four years. Thank you, Lord, that at the proper time we shall reap a harvest providing we do not become weary and give up. You are great, oh Lord, and You are the Giver of my life, my passions, my gifts and talents. xxoo
PS - not sure why this has posted as all one paragraph... So sorry for the "run on" but the site was not taking my "enter's" for some reason...

Thank you ladies! With all the excitment we've had this week I'm almost tempted to blog every day! I feel like I have so much I'd like to share with anyone who wants to listen!

Thanks! I keep trying to post more, but everytime I blog I'm not able to hit "enter" for a new paragraph - keeps what I've written as one huge run-on paragraph! Any idea why I might not be getting a response to my "enter" key so I can skip a line????

Had some great thoughts brewing today, but they got lost in a run-on paragraph so I refused to post it...
